With 395bhp on tap, the HST boasts an impressive 5.9 seconds 0-60mph time.

A new addition to the Range Rover Sport line-up is coming, bringing a fresh high-performance option.

Named HST, this grade boasts a 3.0-litre inline six engine delivering an impressive 395bhp and 550Nm of torque to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The result is 0-60mph in 5.9 seconds, with a top speed of 140mph possible.

This powertrain also boasts mild-hybrid technology, which aids the unit’s claimed 30.5mpg return with emissions of 213g/km.

It’s not all just about the powertrain here, though — HST models gain some visual tweaks and equipment upgrades to distinguish it as a special edition model. Bespoke badging and carbon fibre trim on the bonnet, front grille, side vents and tailgate are present on the car’s exterior, while customers get a choice of two alloy wheel designs which house red brake callipers.

Inside the car, 16-way electric seats boast a fresh design while suedecloth detailing can be found on both the steering wheel and gear shifter. On top of that, an impressive suite of safety gear can be specified — including Adaptive Cruise Control and High Speed Emergency Braking.

Available to order now, the Range Rover Sport HST starts at £81,250 OTR.
