Infiniti Q30 revealed ahead of Frankfurt debut

Infiniti has released the first picture of the all-new Q30 compact hatch ahead of its official debut at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt this September.

The first pictures of the all-new Infiniti Q30 compact hatch have been unveiled ahead of the car’s debut at the International Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

Based on the same platform that Mercedes uses to build its A-, CLA- and GLA-Class models, the all-new Q30 features styling inspired by the same design language as the rest of Infiniti’s range.

Sharp looking with swept-back headlights, sculpted flanks and C-pillars which sport accented chrome trimmings, the production Q30 is similar to the Q30 Concept which debuted in Frankfurt two years ago.

Roland Krueger, Infiniti’s president, said: “Design is a key pillar of the Infiniti brand – and the new Q30 Active Compact perfectly embodies this approach. The Q30 Active Compact delivers the distinctive design, the driving dynamics and the individuality that our customers expect of an Infiniti vehicle.

“With our first ever entry in the compact car segment, we continue the product offensive and provide additional options for our discerning customers.”

Concrete details have yet to be released, but Infinity says that the new Q30 will deliver “confident and responsive performance”, alongside a range of premium trims, interiors and equipment options.

Due to be built in Sunderland, the new Infiniti Q30 is currently undergoing final testing stages in Europe and will make its public debut at the Frankfurt show on September 15th.
