Jay Leno bought a variety of expensive options on his brand-new ford GT that has bumped the price of it up to over $500,000.
Boasting one of the most luxurious and exclusive collections in show business, the TV personality is no stranger to extravagant vehicles with a reported collection of over 110 vehicles.
Arriving last month, Leno’s highly anticipated 2017 Ford GT arrived at the famous garage and Leno took us on a tour of his new baby which can be seen on his highly regarded YouTube channel.
But a Reddit user who watched the episode decided to do a bit of investigating in to the car. Using the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) seen on the car, the user managed to unearth a detailed window sticker from Leno’s car.
When inspecting the sticker, the user discovered that Jay had spent a fair bit of cash on optional enhancements including the 400A package ($25,000), titanium lug nuts ($1,000), orange racing stripes ($10,000) and carbon fibre 20-inch wheels ($15,000). This brought the overall price to a staggering $505,750. In UK money, that price works out to just over £380,000.
