Kia Niro hybrid crossover pricing announced

Kia has announced pricing for its all-new Niro hybrid crossover, the first car the South Korean brand has built as a hybrid from the ground up.

The Niro hybrid is Kia’s way of breaking into the hybrid market with style. Thanks to its crossover SUV appeal, it features muscular body work and a sporty front-end.

Pricing for the new hybrid starts from £21,295 – and as each Niro model comes with the same turbocharged 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol mated to a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, the only increment in price comes with trim and optional extras.

The entry-level ‘1’ trim carries the £21,295 price tag, with the ‘2’ and ‘3’ trim levels priced from £22,795 and £24,695 respectively. There is also a flagship ‘First Edition’ trim level, which comes with a long list of high-tech safety kit like Autonomous Emergency Braking, which starts from £26,995.

Some optional add-ons include metallic paint for £545 and an Advanced Driving Assistance Pack (ADAP) for £350.

The Car Keys team will be attending the launch of the Kia Niro in August, so keep an eye out for the review.
