Lamborghini has built a secret sound studio to make its cars sound wilder than ever

You might think that anything with a V12 engine powering it doesn’t need any help in the sound department, but that hasn’t stopped Lamborghini from trying to improve on sonic perfection.

The Italian supercar manufacturer is hard at work expanding and improving its factory to cope with production of the upcoming Urus SUV, but it’s also added in a few extras.

Key among those is a new secret sound studio, where a team of sound engineers will work to fine-tune the exact aural characteristics of Lamborghini’s latest cars.

A statement from the manufacturer said: “The acoustic test room, which has been realised according to the latest technical standards, allows adjustment of particular sound sensations in order to create the typical Lamborghini driving experience, involving all the senses.”

As well as being used to hone the sounds of its cars, the manufacturer will also use the space to test new lightweight construction components and develop future vehicle concepts.

Now, I wonder if Lamborghini could use it to beat the time Mercedes-AMG tuned one of its Formula One engines to play Happy Birthday…?
