Abarth has released a special edition version of its 595 performance hatch, the 595 Trofeo Edition.
Available for customers to buy now, only 250 examples of the limited-edition model from Fiat’s famous performance wing will be released in the UK, with prices starting from £15,150.
The Trofeo Edition comes with an extra £1,275 worth of equipment, which isn’t normally available as an optional at this price range, for only £540 more than the standard Abarth 595.
Additional features include colour-coded brake callipers with matching wheel centre caps, a carbon effect decal set and 17-inch alloy wheels, alongside tinted rear windows and exclusive badging.
Power comes courtesy of Fiat’s venerable 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which generates 138bhp and is capable of taking the Trofeo Editions from 0-62mph in just 7.9 seconds.
Top speed clocks in at 127mph, though despite its sprightly performance it’s still capable of returning 43.5mpg on the official combined fuel economy cycle, Abarth says.
