Mini has announced a new special version of its Countryman Crossover – the Boardwalk Edition.
Limited to just 325 examples in the UK, the new version comes painted in a unique Deep Laguna Blue paintwork – a colour only previously seen on the Mini Convertible Sidewalk Edition. It also comes with a black roof, black roof rails and black styling kit – with all chrome being deleted, including on the grille and window surrounds.
It also features large 19-inch alloy wheels, along with Boardwalk logos on the door entry strips, side scuttles and roof.
Alongside the Countryman’s already long list of standard kit – including LED headlights, cruise control and a digital dials system – the Boardwalk Edition includes extra kit like LED interior lighting and a larger 8.8-inch touchscreen with enhanced connected services.
It also features a full leather interior, along with a reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors and heated seats.
With Mini recently stopping producing diesel Countrymans for the UK, it’s available as either a Cooper or Cooper S. The former comes with a 134bhp 1.5-litre petrol engine and the latter a 175bhp 2.0-litre unit. Each is available with a manual or automatic gearbox.
Prices for the Mini Countryman start from £31,600 for a manual Cooper, rising to £35,025 for an automatic Cooper S. It’s available to order now.
