Maserati Levante UK starting price confirmed

Numerous reports reveal that the upcoming Maserati Levante SUV will start from £54,335 when it launches in Britain this June.

Maserati confirmed the starting price for its first ever SUV at an event in South West London, where it was revealed that Maserati don’t plan to make any other SUV models in the foreseeable future.

The Maserati Levante is a large SUV model which rivals the likes of the Porsche Cayenne and Range Rover Sport.

Diesel only in Britain

From its initial launch, the Levante will be sold in Britain with just one engine, a 271bhp 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel.

Other markets outside the UK are also getting a petrol-run 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 with outputs of 345bhp and 424bhp. Reports indicate that Maserati is considering bringing the V6 petrol to the UK at some point in the future.

A hybrid version of the Levante is also on the agenda, and will most likely launch to European markets including Britain in 2018.

As well as the standard model, UK customers will be able to buy the Levante with a selection of optional packs adding even more luxury features to the SUV. There’s the Sport Pack and Luxury Pack, which both increase the Maserati’s asking price to £60,285.

Then there’s the Luxury Pack Zegna Edition, which comes with highlights such as bespoke Zegna Mulberry Silk. It costs £61,185 to have the Levante with this particular pack.
