To start the year anew, Mercedes-Benz has announced that its Vito will now be available in three trim levels for both the panel van and crew options.
The Pure, Progressive and Premium brings it in line with the X-Class pick-up and will be the new standard for the Vito.
The nomenclature of the different size options is also being changed for 2019 – with L1, L2 and L3 replacing Compact, Long and Extra Long.
With the base Pure level, models come with the Audio 10 infotainment system, active parking assist, parking sensors, headlight assistant, leather steering wheel, twin sliding doors, cab lighting and electrically adjustable heated wing mirrors.
It is offered with the three CDI diesel engines and prices for the Vito Pure start from £24,756.
For the Progressive version, which starts from £26,760, models come with metallic paint and colour-coded bumpers, the Audio 15 infotainment system, folding wing mirrors, front fog lamps, cruise control and full wheel trims. It is fitted with all but the range-topping 119 CDI diesel.
On the headlining Premium option, the Vito is fitted with air conditioning, 17-inch alloy wheels, a chrome radiator grille, reversing camera, anti-theft protection and pre-installation for Becker Map Pilot satellite navigation. Prices for that version start from £32,628 – with customers able to choose from the three most powerful CDI diesel engines.
The Vito Tourer people carrier maintains the Pro and Select trims, and will also gain the Sport specification which will be available from the spring.
