Mercedes-Benz reveals electric car concept in new teaser video

Get ready for the electric revolution as Mercedes-Benz has released a teaser video that hints at the appearance of its upcoming first all-new electric car.

Mercedes-Benz has released a new teaser video, showing off the first sneak peek at what is widely expected to be the manufacturer’s first all-new fully electric car.

The marque has been known to be working on a whole range of electric cars for some time now, with the first of those being the Electric Drive version of the B-Class which was unveiled in 2014.

However, the video offers a glimpse at what’s likely to be Mercedes’ first all-new electric vehicle, and it’s expected that the concept model will appear in the metal at the Paris Motor Show next month.

It’s hard to make out the exact dimensions of the concept, but it’s been suggested that the first new electric Merc could be a crossover or an SUV, judging by its wide and tall proportions.

The teaser video also offers a look at the interior, which features an advanced touchscreen system and a futuristic-looking steering wheel.

So far, Mercedes is keeping schtum about the whole thing, but you can expect to learn more when the Paris Motor Show opens this Thursday.
