Most powerful Porsche 911 Turbo revealed with 599bhp

Porsche has revealed a new limited edition version of the 911 Turbo S coupe called the Exclusive Series. It’s the most powerful 911 Turbo sports car to go on sale and it is available now in the UK priced from £186,916.

Costing nearly £40,000 more than a regular 911 Turbo S, the Exclusive Series is limited to just 500 units worldwide.

For the extra money, the Exclusive Series offers a more powerful version of the 3.8-litre flat six twin-turbo petrol engine used in the Turbo S. It has 27bhp extra giving the car a total output of 599bhp, plus 750Nm of torque.

Despite the extra power, the Exclusive Series has the same 0-62mph sprint time of 2.9 seconds and top speed of 205mph as the regular Turbo S. Where the extra power really makes a difference is during longer bursts of acceleration. The 0-124mph sprint time in the Exclusive Series takes just 9.6 seconds, which is three tenths of a second quicker than a regular Turbo S.

Active Suspension Management, Dynamic Chassis Control and the Sport Chrono package are among the standard driving features for the Exclusive Series.

Besides the extra power, the Exclusive Series also stands out from a regular Turbo S with unique styling touches like the unique metallic gold paint finish available complete with racing stripes. Other highlights of the design include the new rear wing, the black and gold 20-inch wheels and the use of carbon fibre for the bonnet, roof and side skirts.

Inside the cabin of the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series comes as standard with sports seats finished in black and golden perforated leather. Carbon interior trim and Alcantara roof lining also feature.
