Most stylish pick-up ever? Fiat reveals new Fullback Cross

Fiat has revealed a new style-focused Cross version of its Fullback pick-up truck, which the manufacturer says aims to appeal to the lifestyle market.

First launched last year, the Fullback represents Fiat’s first proper model for the pick-up truck market segment. It is heavily based on the latest Mitsubishi L200.

Now Fiat have decided to make something more unique with this new Cross version that adds sporty tweaks and extra equipment. Available only for the double-cab version of the Fullback, it will arrive in showrooms during this summer.

Exterior updates for the Fullback Cross include a redesigned grille in matt black, a satin silver skid plate, larger side steps and a black finish for the load bay, mirrors and door handles.

The extensive standard equipment list includes xenon headlights with LED running lights, dual-zone climate control, heated leather upholstery with an electric driver’s seat, cruise control, sat-nav and a rear parking camera.

Only one engine is available with the Fiat Fullback Cross, which is a 2.4-litre diesel producing 177bhp. This can be mated with either a six-speed manual gearbox or five-speed automatic ‘box. Four mode selectable all-wheel drive is also standard.

Expect pricing for the Fullback Cross to be a little more than the regular model which starts at just over £25,000.
