Hyundai has named its prices for its new KONA Hybrid, with the new crossover set to start from £22,495.
The KONA Hybrid takes advantage of the latest IONIQ Hybrid’s powertrain, which combines a 1.6-litre petrol engine with a 1.65kWh battery and a 32kW electric motor. The end result is 139bhp and 265Nm of torque, which is sent to the front wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The Hybrid also introduces a new 10.25-inch touchscreen with ‘Bluelink’ connectivity features, which allows for functions such as cabin pre-heating – operated via a smartphone app.
The Hybrid is differentiated from the standard KONA by its Blue Drive badging, white interior accents and revised alloy wheels.
As with the standard KONA, the Hybrid is offered in three grades – SE, Premium and Premium SE.
Prices for the SE start from £22,495, which comes as standard with a seven-inch touchscreen with smartphone mirroring, rear parking sensors with a reversing camera and a driver attention alert.
Premium models start from £24,295, and add a Krell sound system, keyless entry, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, 18-inch alloy wheels and automatic wipers.
Range-topping Premium SE versions come laden with kit, with highlights including LED headlights, heated, ventilated and electric leather seats, as well as blind-spot monitoring and a head-up display. Prices for the Premium SE start from £27,195.

The new KONA Hybrid goes on sale on September 30.
