New James Bond Spectre vehicles make Frankfurt debut

Jaguar Land Rover utilises the Frankfurt stage by presenting its new line-up of Bond vehicles.

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has presented its line-up of vehicles set to star in the new James Bond 007 film, Spectre. These vehicles were showcased along with cast members Naomie Harris, who plays Moneypenny, and David Bautista, who plays Hinx.

There is a trio of JLR vehicles set to take to the silver screen when the new Bond film launches in October, including the Jaguar C-X75, the Range Rover Sport SVR and the Land Rover Defender.

The Jaguar C-X75 is arguably the tastiest of the models in terms of sportiness, boasting 500bhp, and has been hailed by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) as the “most advanced Jaguar ever created”. The C-X75 will be involved in a high-speed night time chase through the streets of Rome in the new film.

Specially customised versions of the Land Rover Defender will be used in the film as well as the Range Rover SVR, which is officially the punchiest Land Rover model ever with almost 550bhp.

Jaguars and Land Rovers are not an uncommon sight in the world of 007. In the 2002 Bond film, Die Another Day, a racing green Jaguar XKR shone a worthy combatant for the Aston Martin Vanquish, and in 2012’s Skyfall the opening scene saw a Land Rover Defender riddled with bullet holes.
