Lotus has introduced a new variant to the Evora line-up — the GT410 Sport, which bridges the gap between the base model and the range-topping GT430.
It succeeds the Sport 410, and features new carbon-fibre components as standard — including the roof panel and tailgate. These parts result in a weight drop of 28 kilograms compared with its predecessor, meaning a total dry weight of 1297kg. Add a titanium exhaust and Ohlins dampers, and weight goes down to 1256kg.
The car’s bodywork has also been modified, resulting in a downforce increase of over 50 per cent thanks to bits taken from the GT430.
Powering the GT410 Sport is the same engine from the outgoing car — a 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine that develops 404bhp and 420Nm of torque, capable of taking the Evora from 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds and up to a top speed of 190mph when paired to a six-speed automatic gearbox.
Other standard features on the Evora GT410 include an Alcantara-furnished interior, a seven-inch infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and lightweight forged-alloy wheels.
The Lotus Evora GT410 Sport is now on sale, with prices starting at £85,900.
