Nissan turns up the class with new X-Trail Style Edition

The Nissan X-Trail has received a stylish new update in the form of the new Style Edition model.

Nissan has introduced a new special edition variant of its X-Trail family crossover, to boost the car’s reputation for quality, comfort and stylishness.

Called the X-Trail Style Edition, it’s based on the range-topping Tekna trim but adds a long list of accessories and upgrades like 19-inch black alloy wheels and chrome trimmings on the exterior.

Inside, the Style Edition also gets alloy sports pedals, but it’s not all form over function as the model also gets extra protective cladding on the boot lip and a more practical boot floor mat.

Given that it’s based on the Tekna trim, the X-Trail Style Edition comes with a seven-inch NissanConnect infotainment system, plus Nissan’s full suite of Safety Shield technologies.

Classy new styling tweaks

Incorporating features like a 360-degree Around View Monitor to aid parking and lane departure warning systems, the Safety Shield packages also includes autonomous emergency braking.

The Style Edition can be had with either the 128bhp 1.6-litre diesel engine or the more powerful 161bhp 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine recently introduced to the X-Trail range.

Available to order now in both front- and four-wheel drive configurations, and with a choice of manual or automatic gearboxes, the new Nissan X-Trail Style Edition is priced from £29,405.
