Peugeot has announced a new special edition version of the 2008, complete with new and exclusive styling to liven up the supermini-based crossover.
Using the mid-range Active trim as a starting point, the new Urban Cross comes with various extra features, including a model-exclusive Emerald Metallic paint scheme and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The special edition also benefits from Peugeot’s Grip Control feature, which allows drivers to switch between various traction control settings at will for extra grip in off-road situations, as standard, along with rear parking sensors.
Black shells for the wing mirrors add to the Urban Cross’ distinctive styling, while it also comes with half-leather seats, plus a leather steering wheel and gearknob with contrasting emerald stitching.
Under the bonnet, buyers have a choice of two engines available with the 2008 Urban Cross, a 1.2-litre PureTech petrol with an output of 108bhp, or a slightly larger 99bhp 1.6-litre diesel.
Both engines come with stop-start technology as standard, with the petrol emitting an impressive 108g/km of CO2, while the diesel emits a tax-busting CO2 figure of just 95g/km.
The new Peugeot 2008 Urban Cross special edition is available to order now, with prices starting from just £16,495.
