Peugeot Partner Tepee goes electric

Peugeot has revealed an electric version of its Partner Tepee MPV. It will make its first public appearance at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show next month before going on sale later this year.

Able to seat five and claiming a range of over 100 miles, the Peugeot Partner Tepee Electric is much like a standard Partner Tepee, save for the electric powertrain.

The three rear seats are removable which allows owners of the Partner Tepee Electric to free up room in the back if they want to use it more like a traditional van. The rear of the Peugeot has 1,350 litres of capacity when the rear seats are in place, expanding to 3,000 litres when the rear seats are folded.

The Peugeot is also available with a host of connectivity features, including remote-controlled air conditioning and battery charging that can take commands from smartphones and tablets. Cruise control, hill-start assist and a reverse parking camera is also on the standard kit list.

The Managing Director at Peugeot UK, David Peel, said: “The Peugeot Partner Tepee Electric demonstrates our intention to make sustainable mobility accessible to all.”

Pricing for the Peugeot Partner Tepee is likely to start from somewhere between £20,000 and £25,000.
