To help get higher emitting vehicles off the road, Peugeot has introduced a scrappage scheme that means customers can get up to £6,000 off a new vehicle. With the French brand looking to help you replace petrol and diesel vehicles built before December 31, 2010 with ones that comply with the latest ‘Euro 6’ emission standards, you can find some good reductions on its cars and vans.

What is the Peugeot Scrappage Scheme?
The Peugeot Scrappage Scheme offers customers who want to get rid of their dirtier vehicles – with those from all brands accepted in the process. Nine of Peugeot’s models are available with discounts when exchanging the Euro 4 or older vehicles, with between £1,750 and £6,000 to be taken off the price depending on the model.
To qualify, the vehicle to be part-exchanged must have been owned for 90 days and be at least seven years old. All vehicles must be registered by March 31.
The Peugeot Scrappage Scheme will offer savings of up to £6,000 on almost all current Peugeot passenger cars including PureTech petrol and BlueHDi diesel engines.
What new vehicles can you buy?
As Peugeot is one of the many brands that has pledged to get higher emitting vehicles off the road, it is offering money off the large majority of its models, including the 3008 SUV and 308 hatchback. Both Euro 6-compliant petrol and diesel cars and vans are available in the scheme.
