Porsche 911 Carrera adds Black Edition

Porsche has introduced a new special series for the 911 Carrera called the Black Edition. Like the name suggests, this gives the car a black exterior paint job and a black interior finish, as well as new equipment features.

Available for both coupe and cabriolet versions of the Porsche 911 Carrera, the Black Edition models are on sale now.

Exterior highlights of the 911 Carrera Black Edition include 20-inch ‘911 Turbo’ style alloy wheels, LED headlights, automatically dimming rear-view mirrors, automatic wipers and a black fabric soft top for the cabriolet version. Front and rear Park Assist with a reversing camera is another standard feature for this Porsche.

Inside, the Black Edition is filled with black leather trim, with other standard features including sport seats, automatic climate control, cruise control and sat-nav with a 7-inch colour touchscreen.

The engine in the 911 Carrera Black Edition is the same 345bhp 3.4-litre flat-six petrol unit used by standard models, combined with either a rear-wheel or four-wheel drive powertrain.

Pricing for the 911 Carrera Black Edition starts at £75,074 for the coupe and from £81,852 for the cabriolet. The cheapest model with four-wheel drive, the Carrera 4 Black Edition, is priced from £79,309.
