Porsche has revealed the 718 GTS edition, which adds more performance and exclusive equipment to the standard 718.
The 2.5-litre, four-cylinder engine fitted to the GTS produces 360bhp – 15bhp more than in the S edition – thanks to a new turbocharger and intake duct. This is 36bhp more than the previous GTS, which used a naturally-aspirated flat-six unit.
With that unit under the bonnet, the GTS can get from 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds with the Sport Chrono package and optional PDK automatic gearbox, and onto a top speed of 180mph – 3mph up on top of the S model.
Fitted with a six-speed manual transmission as standard, customers can also choose to fit Porsche’s PDK automatic transmission, with the GTS also coming with torque vectoring and mechanical rear differential and active suspension management, offering great driving control.
The exterior design is also altered, with the traditional GTS black detailing being used on the 20-inch satin finish wheels, tinted lights, logos, rear apron and central exhaust pipes.
Inside, 718 models come with Alcantara-trimmed, electrically-adjustable sports seats with inset GTS logos, a stopwatch inset into the dashboard as is standard with the Sports Chrono package and Alcantara trim on the dashboard, steering wheel and armrests.

Coming in both Cayman and Boxster body styles, the GTS edition is available to order now, with the Cayman starting from £59,866 and the convertible Boxster model demanding a £61,727 starting price.
