The stylish supermini features an updated interior and new personalisation options

Citroen has announced the pricing and specifications for its revised C3 supermini, which features updated styling and fresh personalisation options.

More than 750,000 versions of the latest C3 have been produced since 2016, and to continue that success this updated model features more modern styling. Highlights include a new LED lighting signature and new 17-inch alloy wheels.

Citroen is also making it easier to customise than ever before, with the French firm increasing the personalisation combinations available from 36 to 97, with new colours, accents and graphics being introduced.

In the cabin, the C3 benefits from Citroen’s ‘advanced comfort seats’ (as seen on the C5 Aircross) that claim to offer armchair-like levels of comfort. New safety assists have also been added – including blind spot monitoring and a system that can detect if the driver is losing concentration.

With prices starting from £16,280, prices have only risen by a tiny £80 compared to the model it replaces. Three trim levels are available – Feel, Flair and Flair Plus.

Entry-level Feel models come well-equipped with LED headlights, climate control, cruise control and a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Flair models, which cost from £17,330 bring 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic lights, rear parking sensors and a bi-tone roof.

At the top of the range, the Flair Plus adds larger 17-inch alloys, the advanced comfort seats, a reversing camera and satellite navigation.

The engine choice remains the same as before, with an 82bhp 1.2-litre kicking off the range. A more powerful turbocharged 108bhp 1.2-litre petrol is available as well, while a 99bhp 1.5-litre diesel will appeal to high-mileage drivers.

Order books for the updated C3 are now open, with first deliveries expected in August.
