Pricing and spec announced for Mazda 6 range

Both the Saloon and Tourer will go on sale from 20 July and will start from £23,195 for the SE-L Nav+.

Mazda has released the pricing and specification information for the 6 Saloon and Tourer, which will go on sale from Friday 20 July.

The refreshed models are now available with a new SkyActiv-G 2.5-litre petrol engine that employs cylinder deactivation to reduce fuel usage without hindering performance – with the unit making its UK debut.

The model comes with new headlights, grille design and a cleaner bumper design on the rear, while Mazda has replaced the Soul Red metallic body colour with the new Soul Red Crystal version.

Inside, the 6 is now available with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system and the Active Driving Display projected heads-up system, with prospective customers also able to choose from wood trim, Nappa leather and suede upholstery.

To improve the driving feel, Mazda has fitted new suspension elements as well as new steering knuckles for increased responsiveness.

The 6 range is also available with a raft of safety systems as part of the i-ActiveSense technology range, such as blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, radar cruise control, lane keep assist and smart city brake support.
