Pricing and specs announced for Nissan GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition

The new model will be limited to small numbers in the UK.

Nissan has revealed the pricing for its new anniversary models, which celebrate 50 years of the GT-R and 30 years of the Z nameplate.

The GT-R and 370Z Anniversary Edition models were each unveiled at the New York International Auto Show earlier in the year, with each featuring details harking back to past models.

Shinichiro Irie, program design director for the GT-R, said: “The Nissan GT-R has been the icon of our company’s driving performance for the past half-century.

“We were highly motivated to ensure that the GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition stands out. While the exterior and interior changes may seem subtle at first glance, they’re still impactful, especially with the new paint schemes, keeping the car’s lines and overall presence modern and edgy.”

At the same time as the GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition was revealed, another celebratory edition was revealed of the 370Z, which, again, marks 50 years of Nissan ‘Z’ cars.

This model is available for £38,995, with just 22 coming to the UK. First customer deliveries of this started last month, but GT-R customers will have to wait until August before their cars are delivered.
