Hyundai has released details on its latest performance model to come on sale – the i30 Fastback N.
Customers are able to order the new car from January 21, with prices for the hot version of the i30 Fastback starting from £29,995.
Coming with almost the same specification as the i30 N Performance that was revealed back in 2017, the i30 Fastback N is fitted with a 2.0-litre, turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that develops 272bhp and 353Nm of torque.
With that engine on-board, the Fastback N can get from 0-60mph in 5.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 155mph. Paired to a six-speed manual transmission, the coupe also comes with an electronic limited slip differential to offer improved handling.
The 19-inch alloy wheels have been fitted with Hyundai N-specific Pirelli P-Zero tyres, while a variable exhaust system allows drivers to change the exhaust note depending on the driving mode.

i30 Fastback N models also come with N drive modes, launch control and rev-matching technology to help with smooth gear changes.
Standard equipment on the Fastback N includes heated leather and suede sports seats with red detailing, a leather steering wheel, LED head and taillights, cruise control, keyless entry with start/stop, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity, and a 4.2-inch LCD display in the instrument binnacle.
Customers can also choose from six body colours, including the new Shadow Grey that is unique to the Fastback N.
