Renault has announced pricing for the Master Z.E. all-electric van, which is available in six different body styles.
Starting from £45,700 excluding VAT and after the government’s £8,000 plug-in vehicle grant, the Master Z.E. can offer up to 74 miles of range and a payload of 1,128kg (depending on body style).
The 33kWh battery can be replenished from empty to full charge in six hours and it comes with equipment such as a pre-heating function and the Z.E. voice, which is a sound that makes pedestrians aware of the vehicle’s presence.
Offered in short, medium or long wheelbase configurations, customers can also choose from two roof heights.
All Master Z.E.s are based on the Business specification, which provides electric windows and mirrors, DAB radio, Bluetooth, hill start assist and trailer swing assist.
When fitted with the R-Link infotainment system and the Z.E. Connect subscription, customers can see the vehicle’s range on their smartphone and find charging points in the proximity.
The Master Z.E. joins the Kangoo Z.E. and Twizy Cargo in Renault’s electric commercial vehicle range.
