Renault Captur S Edition introduced

This version of the compact crossover comes with a more stylish finish and sits just below the top-end GT-Line option.

Renault has added a new trim to the Captur compact crossover that comes with a more stylish finish than previous offerings.

Called the S Edition, it features Alcantara upholstery as standard with contrasting red detailing, while the rest of the interior comes with a dark finish to highlight the bright red sections.

The seven-inch colour touchscreen comes with a red surround, with the infotainment system running satellite navigation and DAB radio, while rear parking sensors, automatic headlights and automatic wipers are also included.

On the outside, the S Edition comes with grey lower door accents and skid plates alongside 17-inch Filante alloys that are exclusive to the model. It also comes with six body colour choices, while a black roof and wing mirrors are a no-cost option. Ivory and Mercury contrast roof and wing mirrors are available as a cost option.

2019 Renault Captur S Edition

Engine options for the S Edition consists of three units – an 89bhp diesel that can be teamed with both manual and automatic transmissions, a 128bhp petrol with a six-speed manual and the top-end 148bhp petrol that is paired to a six-speed automatic.

Prices for the Captur S Edition start from £19,785, with orders for the model starting next month.
