SEAT Leon gets new SE Technology Business trim

SEAT has introduced a new trim option to its popular Leon range, the new Leon SE Technology Business.

Available on both the ST estate and five-door hatchback models, the SE Technology Business trim is priced from £20,545 and available to order now, with first deliveries due late this year.

Designed specifically with business drivers in mind, the SE Technology Business comes packed with a range of fleet-optimised equipment and powertrain options to boost its popularity with companies.

Peter McDonald, SEAT UK’s head of fleet and business sales, said: “The Leon has spearheaded our fleet sales drive over the last 18 months, but the SE Technology Business takes the model on to the next level when it comes to business use.

“An already impressive package has been made even more compelling, especially when value is such a key part of the equation, which it inevitably is whether the choice is down to the user chooser or fleet manager.”

Based on the mid-range SE trim, the new addition adds both SEAT’s optional Technology Pack and Convenience Pack as standard equipment to the Leon line-up.

As a result, the SE Technology Business gains integrated sat-nav, DAB radio and automatic LED headlights, alongside adaptive cruise control, rear parking sensors and rain-sensing wipers.

A choice of two engines are available, starting with a 1.6-litre four cylinder turbodiesel that produces 109bhp with fuel economy figures that clock in at up to 74.3mpg on the combined cycle.

Buyers can also specify a more potent 148bhp 2.0-litre turbodiesel which can take the Leon from 0-62mph in just 8.4 seconds, while still delivering 68.9mpg with just 106g/km of CO2 emissions.

The SEAT Leon SE Technology Business is available to order now, priced between £20,545 for the five-door hatchback and £20,650 for the ST estate model.
