Spanish carmaker Seat has released the trim and pricing information for its small SUV, the Arona, which comes to showrooms on November 17.
Available in six trim options – SE, SE Technology, FR, FR Sport, Xcellence and Xcellence Lux – the Arona also comes with two launch-exclusive models – the SE Technology First Edition and Xcellence First Edition – which will be on offer for a limited time.
Standard features from the SE spec level include 17-inch alloy wheels, two-tone body work, black roof rails, LED daytime running lights and rear lights, air conditioning, electric windows, a five-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, Bluetooth and AUX/USB connections.
Safety systems from the base trim include front assist, multi-collision braking, hill hold control and tiredness recognition, as well as cruise control, airbags and Isofix child seat mounting points.
With FR models the Arona gets sportier features, such as sports seats, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, chrome detailing, dark-tinted windows and altered sports bodywork, as well as Seat Drive Profile and dual-zone air conditioning. FR Sport models get dynamic chassis control, 18-inch alloys and Alcantara upholstery.
The Xcellence trim level adds more overall practicality, with the keyless entry and go, storage pockets, blind spot detection and rear cross traffic alert. The Lux version also comes with front parking sensors, a rear-view camera, parking assist and 18-inch alloys.
Arona models come with 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre petrol, and 1.6-litre diesel options with power outputs of 94bhp, 114bhp and 148bhp. You can also choose between manual and automatic transmissions.
Prices for the Arona start from £16,555 for the SE version, with the top level Xcellence Lux starting from £21,880.
