The second generation of the Vauxhall Insignia has passed 100,000 orders since it was released in June 2017.
In that time, the model released in conjunction with Opel has been a success across Europe in its current saloon and Sports Tourer form, with an off-road-inspired Country Tourer and sporty GSi model to come to showrooms later this year.
Under the bonnet of all Insignia models are a range of turbocharged petrol and diesel engines that can be combined with either manual or automatic gearboxes, with the top-end diesel and petrol units coming with all-wheel drive with torque vectoring.
In less than a year, it has won multiple awards and group tests to show that the quality of the Vauxhall line-up is improving and the Insignia is leading the way as the brand’s flagship.
The Insignia line-up comes with a good amount of tech from base spec as well, with adaptive cruise control, LED adaptive headlights and specially-developed ergonomic seats available in models.
Tech features include an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with satellite navigation, smartphone connectivity, Wi-Fi hotspot and OnStar emergency service system.
Prices for the Insignia saloon start from £17,635, while the Sports Tourer starts from £19,135.
