Skoda announces pricing for updated Fabia

The supermini comes with a fresh design to the front, enhanced trims and an all-petrol engine line-up.

Skoda has released pricing and specification for the 2018 update of the Fabia, which comes with a refreshed design and new equipment.

Starting from £12,840, the supermini comes with an all-petrol engine line-up that offers three power outputs – 74bhp, 93bhp and 108bhp – with the most powerful option available with a seven-speed DSG transmission. A five-speed manual is available on the 74bhp and 93bhp models, while a six-speed manual is on offer for the most powerful option.

2018 Skoda Fabia

Available in five trim levels – S, SE, SE L Colour Edition and Monte Carlo – the Fabia comes with LED daytime running lights, front assist and a multifunction trip computer from the base spec.

In SE models, Skoda adds front fog lights, 15-inch alloy wheels, the Radio Swing Plus audio system and auto up/down electric windows. The Colour Edition is based on the SE and adds 16-inch alloys in silver, white or black. Prices for the SE start from £14,115, while Colour Edition models start from £14,665.

For the SE L, which is priced from £15,205, Fabia models come with the Amundsen touchscreen infotainment system with satellite navigation, lighting in the central console and 16-inch alloys.

2018 Skoda Fabia

The top-end Monte Carlo comes with climate control, LED rear lights, rear electric windows and premium upholstery, as well as a styling pack that adds a black front splitter, black roof, floor mats and a carbon-effect dashboard.

Customers can also choose from a host of optional extras, such as adaptive cruise control, rear view camera, driver fatigue assistant and full LED headlights – while an additional safety system that costs £390 adds blind spot detection and rear traffic alert.

The new Skoda Fabia is available to order now, with deliveries beginning in due course.
