Skoda Citigo facelifted for 2017

Skoda has facelifted its Citigo city car for 2017 by introducing some styling updates and new interior kit and personalisation options.

Skoda has revealed a facelift for its Citigo hatchback, which will make its public debut appearance next month during the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.

The city car receives design changes to its front end plus some minor cabin updates. Exterior updates include new headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights, a wider air vent and new fog lamps integrated into the front bumper and a revised grille design. Also introduced are a new set of 15-inch alloy wheels and a new green paint job.

Inside, the facelifted Citigo’s cabin comes with a slightly re-arranged dashboard and dial setup, while higher trim cars get a two-tone dashboard. A new feature of the Citigo’s interior is the umbrella stored under the passenger seat, an example of Skoda’s much talked about ‘Simply Clever’ features.

Equipment available includes Bluetooth with Android and Apple smartphone connectivity, while the option list features a multifunction steering wheel, contrasting black or white wing mirror and roof panels and tinted taillights.

Engines are unchanged from prior the facelift, so the 2017 Skoda Citigo is still offered with two 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engines with outputs of 59bhp or 74bhp. Expect pricing to start very similarly to the Citigo’s current starting figure of £8,495.
