Skoda has revealed the next addition to the Karoq SUV family that will be making its debut at the Paris Motor Show in October.

Called the Karoq Sportline, it will be shown alongside the other new Karoq model – the Scout – at the event, with the version angled towards a sportier drive and appearance.

To distinguish it from the other Karoq models, the Sportline comes with sports bumpers and 19-inch polished black alloy wheels, as well as black roof rails, tinted windows and Sportline badging.

Inside, Skoda fits black Thermoflux fabric sport seats with contrasting silver stitching, a multifunction sports steering wheel with perforated leather trim and stainless steel pedals, as well as black headlining and pillars.

Customers can also choose to fit the optional virtual cockpit display that sits in the instrument binnacle and the LTE module with Wi-Fi hotspot.

Skoda offers four engines with the Sportline model, including the Sportline-exclusive 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 187bhp. A 187bhp 2.0-litre diesel is also on offer that is paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. The remaining petrol and diesel options are a 1.5-litre 148bhp TSI and a 148bhp 2.0-litre TDI – both of which can be optionally fitted with the seven-speed auto and four-wheel drive.
