Tesla plans to live stream the first Model 3 Deliveries

Tesla CEO Elon Musk will help deliver the first 30 production examples of the new Model 3 at a special event which will be lived streamed to the public worldwide.

Elon Musk has pledged to deliver the first 30 production examples of the Model 3 at a special event which will be lived streamed for the world to see.

At the event, first buyers including Musk himself, will be given the keys to their brand-new electric vehicles. Besides Musk’s own car, the other 29 Model 3 units are going to workers and current Tesla owners.

After the event has taken place, the Tesla CEO has also stated that the manufacturer aims to ship 100 units of the Model 3 in August, with dramatic increases each month until production of units reaches 10,000 per week.

Providing California’s recent announcement to make the Model 3 part of their list of eligible vehicles for the Clean Vehicle Rebate Program (CVRP) comes true, it looks likely Tesla are set to earn massive sales figures for its new electric family car.

The affair will be live streamed to the motoring world via the Tesla website at 8:45 PM PT (04:45 am Saturday for anybody in the UK).
