The future of Vauxhall: What to expect

Vauxhall will introduce eight new or updated models by the end of 2020, here's what to expect from the British car manufacturer.

Vauxhall is currently undergoing a transformation following the purchase of the company by the French PSA Group last year. The brand’s vision of the future, which is named the Pace! product offensive, was announced earlier this year is well underway, and as part of that Vauxhall will release eight new or refreshed models by 2020. To help with progressing electrification of the brand, four of those eight will come with an electrical element to their powertrain.

Here are some of the models…

Corsa

Vauxhall Corsa

The Corsa will be getting completely revamped in 2019 with what is likely to be an all-petrol engine line-up. An all-electric version is coming in 2020, too. The Corsa Electric will be the first of the brand’s new range of electrified options. Find local Corsa prices here.

Vivaro

The commercial vehicle will be revamped in 2019 and will help be the driving force in renewing the van line-up. Find local Vivaro prices here.

Combo

Along with the Vivaro, the Combo will come with a new design, as well as improved equipment and styling. Both LCV and passenger options will be brought out in 2019, shortly after the Vivaro. The Combo shares a platform with the Peugeot Partner and Citroen Berlingo. Find Vauxhall vans prices here. 

Mokka X

Vauxhall Mokka X

Introduced back in 2012, Vauxhall has announced that a new Mokka X will be on the way in 2020. Vauxhall says the new model will be introduced to help increase the popularity of the brand’s SUV range. Find local Mokka X prices here.

Grandland X PHEV

As well as the Corsa, the Grandland X will be getting the electrified treatment in the form of a plug-in hybrid. Along with the Corsa Electric, the Grandland X PHEV will be one of four electric models by 2020. Find local Grandland X prices here.

Vauxhall also confirmed that the Adam and Viva will be dropped at the end of their respective lifecycles, but both will be on sale until the end of 2019. Find local Adam prices here.
