The Grand Tour has been filming in Johannesburg, South Africa, and images of the show’s trio hosting in a big tent have been revealed online.
There has been a lot of hype surrounding The Grand Tour, with many wondering what the show’s format will be and exactly how Clarkson, May and Hammond will present. New images posted online reveal that the ex-BBC Top Gear presenters will host The Grand Tour sat on a table in a giant tent, addressing a studio audience.

Similar to when the three presenters were on Top Gear, the studio format has Clarkson as head honcho with Hammond and May sat to his side. The backdrop however has changed, with a picturesque Johannesburg in the distance. Clarkson tweeted about his experience with the new studio format, saying “I loved today”.
