As one of the brand’s most important global models, the 3 Series is likely to attract a lot of attention before it goes on sale next year. Currently going through its final stages of testing, the executive saloon usually garners a lot of interest here in the UK and it is likely to carry across many features seen on its larger sibling – the 5 Series.

Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2

Any new Ferrari is likely to get the heart racing, so when the Italian brand announced two limited edition models earlier this month – both will undoubtedly draw a lot of attention. Called Monza SP1 and SP2, the roofless special series models are inspired by past vehicles from the Maranello-based manufacturer – with both employing a 6.5-litre V12 engine under the sleek bonnet. The duo looks absolutely stunning and will definitely be ones to look out for.

As the precursor for the hotter A 45, Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the first hot hatch of the latest A-Class generation. The A 35 crams a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine under the bonnet that produces 302bhp and is paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and 4Matic all-wheel drive. Any hot hatch will catch the interest of many a car fan, so this is likely to attract a crowd – especially in bright yellow.

The model will get a twin-turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 236bhp and is expected to come with a seven-speed DSG transmission and four-wheel drive. The compact model may not be the most exciting vehicle on display, but it represents a cheap and accessible route into proper off-roading. With bright body colour options available, the Jimny is likely to be a fun option in the crossover segment that actually has off-roading credentials and even looks like a mini Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen – what’s not to like?
