What is the Vauxhall scrappage scheme?
The Vauxhall scrappage scheme offers up to £2,000 of savings on a brand-new car when you trade in any car towards a Vauxhall model — regardless of the make of your current vehicle.
New models available in the scrappage scheme include the Astra, Astra GTC and limited-edition versions of the Corsa.
You could be eligible for the Vauxhall scrappage scheme if:
- Your current car has been registered in your name for 90 days or more
- The new vehicle ordered is registered before 30th September 2017
The scheme is only available to private retail customers and small businesses at participating dealers only.

- Registered to the current owner for at least 90 or more days
- The vehicle must then be scrapped

Vauxhall Scrappage Terms and Conditions
In order to qualify for the Vauxhall scrappage incentive, terms and conditions will apply.
- Up to £2,000 Scrappage Allowance towards selected new cars is offered on condition that the traded-in car must have been registered in your name as the owner for at least 90 days and the registration document must be in your name and address
- Offer is only available on selected coded stock only. Models include Astra, GTC, Meriva, Corsa Limited Edition and Vivaro
- Offer is for new vehicles ordered from 1 September 2017 to 30 September 2017 which are subsequently registered by 30 September 2017
- Offer is not available in conjunction with We Buy Any Car Programme or London offers. Offer applies to private individuals, Vauxhall Partners and small businesses 1- 24 units (purchase only). All other customers are excluded.
