Volvo announces prices for new Cross County models

Volvo has announced pricing and specification details for its new S60 Cross Country and V60 Cross Country models.

The Cross Country badge is known for enhancing off-road capabilities and has been doing so since the late 90’s when the V70 Cross Country model was first introduced. Since then, Volvo has continued the trend, with two of its latest models – the S60 and V60 – receiving the Cross Country treatment.

As with other Volvo Cross Country models, the latest additions benefit from a host of rugged enhancements. Both the V60 Cross Country and S60 Cross Country, which start from £30,195 and £33,695 respectively, have an additional 65mm of ground clearance to enhance off-road versatility, plus side scuff plates, front and rear skid plates and bumper extenders.

Other aesthetic enhancements to both models include a gloss black window trim as well as a revised front-grille design and the availability of unique 19-inch alloy wheels.

There are a range of trim levels available for the V60 Cross Country model – including SE and Lux Nav - as well as a number of different engines. The S60 Cross Country on the other hand comes available in just one trim grade, Lux Nav.

Engine availability for both models will include Volvo’s new four-cylinder Drive-E diesel engines, D3 and D4 FWD. The D4 variant will power the All-Wheel Drive model.

Production for the V60 Cross Country will commence in May, followed by the S60 Cross Country in June. Orders are open now, with first UK deliveries expected in June.
