Prices for Volvo’s latest addition to the range have been announced, with the new V60 estate starting from £31,810.
The mid-size model is available with a choice of four trim levels – Momentum, Inscription and a Pro version of each – from its launch, with two further specifications to join later in the car’s timeline: R-Design and Cross Country.
Volvo provides customers with three powertrain options – two diesel and one petrol – and two transmissions: a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic. The Swedish brand has also confirmed that two petrol-electric hybrid power options as well as a second petrol option will be available by the summer of 2019.
As standard, all V60 models come with a portrait nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a power-operated tailgate, LED headlights and satellite navigation, as well as the City Safety pack that includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian, cyclist and large animal detection and steering support – which helps the driver steer round objects in an emergency.

The V60 is the second vehicle to be added to the Care by Volvo subscription system, which lets customers pay a monthly fee for the vehicle, servicing, insurance and roadside assistance, as well as use a different Volvo vehicle for 14 days each year.
Order books for the V60 open on July 12 and deliveries will start in the third quarter of this year.
