You can now buy a Ken Block signature Ford Transit van

Sideways supremo and the world’s foremost tyre shredder Ken Block has finally gotten a signature vehicle, but it’s probably not what you might think.

Following in the footsteps of other rally legend special editions like the Mitsubishi Evo Tommi Makinen Edition and the Subaru Impreza RB320 Richard Burns tribute, you can now get a, er, Ken Block Ford Transit van.

Yours for a cool £49,995 plus VAT, the Transit has been customised by M-Sport, the company which builds all of Ford’s rally cars for the WRC and the World Rallycross Championship.

Compared against the standard Transit, the Ken Block edition gets 18-inch OZ Superturismo wheels and a custom rear exhaust, plus a rally-inspired bodykit with a spoiler and a rear diffuser.

Inside, the Transit gets full leather upholstery while Block also added on a bit of his own styling, with specially darkened Ford badges and blacked-out headlight housing.

As well as that, the rubbing strips on either side feature the same livery pattern that Block’s new Ford Focus RS RX rallycross car sports, while the pattern also features on the seats.

Ken said: “I’m really stoked with how this collaboration turned out. I always thought that maybe someday I’d have a signature Ford vehicle, but I never thought that it’d be a van!

“I really like this thing though, it’s super practical for me since I have a wife and three kids and we travel a ton. This Ford Transit has the look and styling that I like, is fun to drive and manages to hold us and all of our stuff.”

The Ken Block signature Transit is available to buy now but you’d better be quick if you want one, as it’s expected that only 43 of them will be built.
