Nissan Juke Shiro Special Edition
(Wednesday 1 February 2012)

The Nissan Juke Kuro (which is Japanese for black) special edition is no more, and has been replaced by the Nissan Juke Shiro (which is Japanese for white), a slightly fancier version of the range-topping Tekna.
Now, you may already have noticed that the car pictured here is very far from white. In fact, the Shiro is available in any of the normal Juke colours, plus a new one called Nightshade, described by Nissan as "a sophisticated deep aubergine".
Whatever its exterior colour, though, the Shiro has quite a lot of internal white detailing, such as the centre console, the door panels, the window switch surrounds and the stitching for the leather-covered steering wheel, gearlever gaiter, seats and central armrest.
Further Shiro-specific equipment includes dark grey 17" alloy wheels, satin silver-finished doorhandles and mirror caps, a gloss black finish to the centre pillar, illuminated chrome-plated sill protectors for the front doors and Juke-branded velour floor mats.
The Shiro specification is available with all three Juke engines, namely the 108bhp 1.5 dCi turbo diesel, the 115bhp 1.6 petrol and the curious 187bhp 1.6 turbo petrol.
First customer deliveries are scheduled for March 1, and pricing starts at £17,695.
