2017 Hyundai i30 Tourer pricing confirmed

UK pricing and specifications have been announced for the new Hyundai i30 Tourer, which launches in early July.

Hyundai has confirmed UK pricing and specification details for its new i30 Tourer, which will go on sale here on 6 July, starting from £17,495.

Following the arrival of the new i30 hatchback earlier this year, the Tourer estate is 245mm longer in comparison but uses the same wheelbase as the hatchback. The extra space offered by the car’s increase in length benefits the boot, which offers 602 litres of space as standard. Besides the estate body shape of course, the new Tourer shares virtually all the same design features as the 2017 i30 hatchback.

From launch, the new i30 Tourer’s range comprises of five trim levels and three engine options.

The engines include an entry-level 1.0-litre T-GDi three-cylinder turbo petrol unit with 118bhp. Also available is a 1.4-litre turbo petrol with 138bhp and a 1.6-litre CRDi diesel with 108bhp or 134bhp.

Most engines use a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, but the 1.4-litre petrol is available with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic ‘box and this is standard for the 134bhp diesel.

The trims start with the entry-level S trim, priced from £17,495 and available only with the 1.0-litre petrol engine. Standard kit for the starting trim includes 15-inch alloy wheels, DAB radio, a multifunction steering wheel, USB and auxiliary connectors plus Bluetooth connectivity.

Next in line is the SE trim which starts at £19,355. This is offered with the 1.0-litre petrol and both versions of the diesel engine. Added equipment you get from SE includes 16-inch alloys and a five-inch touchscreen system plus a rear parking camera.

Up next is the SE Nav trim which starts at £20,305 which is available with all engines the SE offers plus the 138bhp petrol unit. This trim gets an eight-inch infotainment screen with integrated sat-nav. Both voice recognition and wireless phone charging are other additions for this trim.

The Premium trim is next in the Tourer’s line-up and it starts at £22,885. Using either the 1.4-litre petrol or 1.6-litre diesel, Premium models feature 17-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats and dual zone climate control.

Topping the range is the Premium SE trim, which is also available with the 1.4-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel and priced from £24,155. Additions for this trim include a heated steering wheel and a panoramic sunroof.
