2020 Mitsubishi Mirage supermini unveiled

The updated model features looks similar to those of the updated ASX and Eclipse Cross.

Mitsubishi has unveiled the updated version of its Mirage supermini, which boasts a new look and revised interior.

Adopting styling similar to that of the facelift 2020 ASX crossover and Eclipse Cross, the facelifted Mirage has a more imposing front grille, with additional chrome detailing. New LED lights also feature, while the fog lights have been moved to the far corners of the bumper.

At the rear the Mirage features a revised rear bumper, along with new LED rear lights. New two-tone 15-inch alloy wheels are also available, while Mitsubishi has added a pair of new colours to the Mirage – White Diamond and Sand Yellow.

On the inside a key difference is the Mirage’s new seven-inch touchscreen, which offers Bluetooth as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring. Further changes to the interior include a new front arm rest, and further use of soft-touch materials. New interior textures and materials have also been introduced.

The model will be officially unveiled at the Thailand International Motor Expo on November 28, along with the Attrage saloon – a saloon version of the Mirage that’s not sold in the UK.

Full pricing and details will be unveiled in the new year when the model goes on sale, though expect a price increase over the outgoing model’s £9,999 starting price.
