Alfa Romeo introduces updates for Giulia and Stelvio

Both the saloon and SUV models have been given a refresh, with the Veloce Ti offering Quadrifoglio styling to the Giulia Veloce trim.

Alfa Romeo has revealed the tweaked MY19 versions of both the Giulia and Stelvio, which both come with better standard kit and Euro 6D engines across the board.

Diesel models of both now come with the AdBlue NOx reduction system as well as the power output of the 2.2-litre 148bhp and 177bhp units being increased by 9bhp over their predecessors.

All models of the Giulia and Stelvio now come with an 8.8-inch Alfa Connect display that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as a standard feature.

For the Giulia, Alfa has modified the trim line-up with the addition of the Veloce Ti, which comes with the same kit as the standard Veloce spec and adds Quadrifoglio-inspired bodywork and equipment. That means Veloce Ti models come with 19-inch five-hole alloy wheels, carbon grille and mirror caps, and red brake calipers.

Quadrifolgio-style leather and alcantara seats, carbon and leather interior trim, carbon door sills, Alfa’s climate pack and interior lighting can be found inside, with sportier optional body kits also available.

Alfa has also enhanced the Speciale with additional standard equipment – like exclusive 18-inch alloys, privacy glass and black brake calipers – while the Veloce trim also gains kit in the shape of the convenience pack with keyless entry and privacy glass.

For the Stelvio SUV, Alfa has fitted additional kit, with the Super now including Michelin CrossClimate winter tyres, and the Speciale trim gaining privacy glass, aluminium kick plates and black brake calipers.

The MY19 Giulia starts from £32,490, while the Stelvio costs from £36,990. Available to order now, models will be delivered from September.
