Alfa Romeo Stelvio UK pricing confirmed

Pricing and specification details for the Alfa Romeo Stelvio have been confirmed, ahead of the SUV's debut this September.

Alfa Romeo has revealed UK pricing and specification details for its all-new Stelvio, the Italian brand’s first ever production SUV and a rival to the likes of the BMW X3 and Jaguar F-PACE. The Alfa will start from £33,990 when it launches in showrooms during this September.

From the Alfa Stelvio’s launch in Britain, it will be available in four trim levels and with two engines with various power outputs. Regardless of engine choice, an eight-speed automatic gearbox comes as standard.

The cheapest option in the range is the standard trim car with the 178bhp 2.2-litre diesel engine and rear-wheel drive. From £34,690 you can get the standard trim Stelvio with the 197bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine and all-wheel drive.

Equipment featured in the standard Stelvio includes an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, DAB radio, Bluetooth, dual-zone climate control and a multi-function leather steering wheel.

Just above the standard trim is the Super version of the Stelvio, which starts from £36,190 when using 2.2-litre diesel and rear-wheel drive. For £1,500 extra you can get all-wheel drive with the same trim and engine combo.

Also available with the Super trim is the 197bhp petrol (from £36,890) and a 207bhp version of the 2.2-litre diesel (£38,490), both of which utilise all-wheel drive.

Standard kit for the Super trim version of the Stelvio includes sat-nav, a two-tone leather dashboard and a seven-inch TFT instrument cluster that replaces the 3.5-inch TFT colour instrument panel used on the standard trim car.

The next trim level up is the Speciale, which starts from £41,490 when using the 178bhp diesel engine and all-wheel drive. The 207bhp diesel and a 2.0-litre petrol with 276bhp are also available for this trim and both use all-wheel drive too. With the latter engine, the most powerful unit in the Alfa SUV’s range, the Stelvio costs from £43,690.

As standard the Speciale trim comes with 19-inch alloy wheels with red brake calipers (previous trims use 17-inch or 18-inch alloys), along with bi-xenon headlights, heated front leather seats, aluminium shift paddles on the steering column and chrome window surround.

The range-topping trim is called Milano Edizione, which comes with all-wheel drive as standard, and it starts from £43,990 with the 207bhp diesel or £45,390 with the 276bhp petrol unit.

Standard features added by the Milano includes sportier leather seats, 20-inch alloys, keyless entry, privacy glass with black gloss window surround and a rear-view camera.

At some point after the Stelvio’s initial launch, the range will expand with the launch of the Quadrifoglio version which’ll use a 2.9-litre V6 petrol engine boasting 503bhp. This is the same engine featured in the Giulia Quadrifoglio super saloon.
