The Audi SQ7 is now on sale in the UK with pricing starting at £70,970 and first customer deliveries due in August.
Powered by a new 4.0-litre diesel V8, aided by an electric motor meant to cancel out turbo lag, the SQ7 delivers 429bhp and a zero to 62mph sprint time of just 4.8 seconds. Official combined fuel economy is 39.2mpg and CO2 emissions are at 190g/km.
Styling and equipment
Standard styling features include a unique grille which makes the car stand out more compared to standard Q7 models. The SQ7 also comes with a aluminium finish on the side air intakes and mirrors, LED headlights and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Within the seven-seater cabin, the SQ7 offers Valcona leather and a full digital Audi Virtual Cockpit with smartphone interface and MMI sat-nav. Google Street View, weather updates, online traffic, flight and train information and local fuel prices are among the features available via the 7-inch MMI monitor and the 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit display.
Seven-seat capacity
Options for the Audi SQ7 include all-wheel steering, which lets the driver steer the front and rear wheels in the same direction. Also on the options list is 22-inch alloys, sports seats a Bose sound system and a Technology Package. The latter adds wireless phone charging and a heads-up display.
