Audi to offer ‘on-demand’ loan service

Available in Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow, the short-term loan service can be used for up to 28 days.

To give drivers another route into driving its models, Audi is now offering an on demand loan service for many of its vehicles.

Currently available to people within 30 miles of Audi centres in Oldham, Edinburgh and Glasgow, the brand is offering cars for loans up to 28 days for one ‘all-in’ fee.

Originally tested in Oldham, Audi plans to roll the service out across the UK – with London, Birmingham and Newcastle the next potential places.

This scheme is part of Audi’s future mobility plans, with both business and public use of the service to be introduced in 2019.

The one-off fee customers will pay includes unlimited mileage coverage, fully comprehensive insurance and roadside assistance, plus delivery and collection of the vehicle.

Terms of use can range from one hour to 28 days, with prices for a full day starting from £70 – depending on the vehicle chosen.
