Citroen reveals special edition C1 JCC+ special edition

The model is inspired by fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac

Citroen has announced a new special edition of its C1 City car – the JCC+.

Continuing the French firm’s long history of working with fashion and lifestyle brands on special editions, this new JCC+ is inspired by French designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and features bold styling and colour influences.

The French carmaker has previously worked with the designer on a special version of its C3 supermini, as well as on an electric E-Mehari art car.

And now it’s the turn of the C1, which receives Castelbajac’s renowned blue, yellow and red accents around the car.

On the exterior, it comes with red door mirrors, blue centre caps on the black 15-inch alloy wheels and yellow on the C-pillar graphics as a nod to the designer. JCC+ special editions also come with matte black wheel arch extenders and tinted windows.

The interior is perhaps the more vibrant part, though. Here you’ll find bright blue seats, a red dashboard and JCC+ graphics on the floor mats, along with other white and gloss black elements.

The special edition sits at the top of the C1 line-up, and is being based on the Flair trim level, which comes with a seven-inch touchscreen with smartphone mirroring and a reversing camera. As

It exclusively utilises a 71bhp 1.0-litre petrol engine, which is now the only engine found in this city. Unlike the regular C1, no three-door option is available, either.

The C1 JCC+ special edition is available to order now, with prices starting from £14,135 - £685 more than the regular Flair trim level.
