Dacia’s new Techroad models could be the affordable luxury you’ve been waiting for…

Dacia has introduced a new range of Techroad special editions across its range of affordable vehicles — and it could be the low-cost luxury you’ve been waiting for.

What makes a Techroad so special? Well, this range-topping grade brings a whole host of upgrades to its cars to bring a newfound premium edge to the machines.

For the Dacia Duster, this variant sits atop Comfort trim and brings a new look to the hatchback. Decals feature down either side of the car, along with red detailing for the mirror caps. Rounding out the exterior changes is a red centre cap for its 17-inch alloy wheels.

This is taken for the Logan MCV Stepway and Sandero Stepway too, which feature a near-identical aesthetic enhancement. The only change is the use of 16-inch alloys, while all three cars feature trim-specific badging. A choice of Fusion Red or Highland Grey paint is available.

Inside the cabin of the Techroad editions, red/grey trim details and upholstery stitching features, along with floor mats in a matching colour.

For both Stepway cars, standard equipment includes a soft-feel steering wheel, air conditioning, an infotainment system with support for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in addition to DAB radio and Bluetooth functions, rear parking sensors and cruise control.

For the Duster, rear parking sensors, climate control, a hands-free key card, blind-spot detection, a multi-view camera plus the same comprehensive infotainment package as its Stepway siblings is present too.

Pricing for the Dacia Duster Techroad begins at £16,360, with the Logan MCV Stepway Techroad coming in at £13,160 while the Sandero Stepway Techroad is available from £11,660.
